Origin:
Bred by Chevrier (France, before 1826). Introduced in France by Jean Laffay in 1826 as 'Bonne Geneviève'.
Bloom:
Dark purple or violet with bright or dark red center. Green button-eye. Moderate fragrance. Average diameter 2". Medium to large, very double, button-eye bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.
