Bloom:
Salmon-orange to apricot. [Pink to light apricot.] None to mild, mild fragrance. Average diameter 3.5". Medium, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Medium, bushy, dense. Medium, semi-glossy, medium green foliage.
Height: up to 3' (up to 90cm). Width: up to 30" (up to 75cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 7a and warmer. Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower, garden, landscape or shrub. Hardy. can be grown as a shrub. rain tolerant. shade tolerant. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant, blackspot resistant, mildew resistant, rust resistant. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
Breeder's notes:
We have found that this rose thrives in cool climates much like were it was hybridized on the westcoast of Canada. It sulks in hot humid climates.
