Origin:
Bred by Hermann Kiese (Germany, before 1906).
Introduced in Germany by J. C. Schmidt / Blumenschmidt in 1906 as 'Tausendschön'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in before 1911 as 'Tausendschön'.
Class:
Hybrid Multiflora, Rambler.  
Bloom:
Rose-pink, white center, ages to white .  Mild fragrance.  Average diameter 2.5".  Medium, double (17-25 petals), in large clusters, cupped bloom form.  Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.  
Habit:
Climbing, few or no prickles/thorns.  Glossy, light green foliage.  

Height: 8' to 12' (245 to 365cm).  Width: up to 8' (up to 245cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be trained as a climber.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.
