Origin:

Bred by Martin R. Jacobus (United States, 1950).
Introduced in United States by Bobbink & Atkins in 1950 as 'Temptation'.

Class:

Climber, Large-Flowered Climber.

Bloom:

Rose-red to carmine-red. Moderate, tea rose fragrance. 40 to 65 petals. Average diameter 4". Medium-large, very full (41+ petals), cluster-flowered, globular, open bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Habit:

Bushy, climbing, dense, well-branched. Large, semi-glossy, medium green, leathery foliage.

Height: 6' to 12' (185 to 365cm). Width: 6' to 18' (185 to 550cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 6b and warmer. Can be used for pillar. Very hardy.
