Notes:
This rose was given to me by a lady from Gussenstadt, a village close to my place on the eastern Schwäbische Alb, Germany. It suckers freely in our chalky clay soil. Its flowers look similar to the rose grown in the USA as 'Desirée Parmentier', although a rose by that name is not known to exist in Germany. That is the reason for the "work name" "Gussenstädter Desirée". Giuseppe
