Origin:
Bred by Delbary (France, before 1912).
Introduced in France by J. Puyravaud père in 1912 as 'Louis de Montardy'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Vermilion, white reverse.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns, well-branched.  Dense foliage.
