Bloom:
Butter-yellow. Mild, sweet fragrance. Average diameter 4". Medium-large, double (17-25 petals), in small clusters bloom form. Moderate, blooms in flushes throughout the season. Fragrant buds.
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, climbing. Large, semi-glossy, dark green foliage.
Growing:
Can be used for garden, hedge, landscape or pillar. Hardy. very vigorous. can be grown as a shrub. can be trained as a climber. produces decorative hips. suitable for a pillar. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant, blackspot resistant. Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood.. Needs little care; relatively disease-free and quite hardy.
