Origin:
Bred by Pierre Jean Louis Roëser (France, before 1846).
Introduced in France by Berger.. in 1846 as 'Clémence Ruffin'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual, Portland.  
Bloom:
Lilac-pink, light pink outer petals, light pink shading.  Mild, lemon fragrance.  Average diameter 2.25".  Medium, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  5 leaflets.
