Bred by Jean Cherpin (France, before 1855).
Introduced in France by Ducher/Roseraie Ducher in 1855 as 'Toujours fleurie'.
Class:
Bourbon, Hybrid Bourbon.  
Bloom:
Violet, blue highlights.  Moderate fragrance.  Medium to large, full (26-40 petals), in small clusters, scalloped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns.
