Bloom:
Pink, darker center.  Strong fragrance.  up to 64 petals.  Average diameter 3.75".  Large, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Moderate.  Medium, ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Medium, upright.  Medium, semi-glossy, medium green foliage.  

Height: 28" to 35" (70 to 90cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 4a and warmer.  Very hardy.  Disease susceptibility: disease resistant.

'CA28' arose from the cross 'Secret' by 'Astrid Lindgren' conducted at the Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada St-Jean-sur-Richelieu Research Station, St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec in 2003.
Notes:
This rose was expected to be the last in the Canadian Artists series, but it was dropped from consideration for the Canadian Artists series and was introduced as a theme rose at the Canada Blooms show, March 14-23, 2014, in Toronto.
