Origin:
Bred by Jules Gravereaux (France, 1900).
Introduced in France by Charles Pierre Marie Cochet-Cochet in 1903 as 'Madame Alvarez del Campo'.
Class:
Hybrid Rugosa.  
Bloom:
Light pink, salmon-pink shading.  Strong fragrance.  Average diameter 3.25".  Large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Large buds.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns.

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Blanche Alice Gravereaux (December 15, 1876 Paris - August 22, 1968 Paris), oldest daughter of Jules Gravereaux, married on May 4, 1895 Charles ("Carlos") Joséph Léonce Alvarez del Campo y Suarez de Casadoiro (January 7, 1867 Paris - July 1, 1930 L'Haÿ-les Roses)
