Moderators, please check the height stated in the HMF profile. The reference tab states 70cm, which is roughly 2.5 feet, not 5’10 to 7’ tall! What is the given height in the patent?

Obviously wrong and we've corrected it to the patent's measurements of 90cm x 50cm. Many thanks Daniel.

In warmer climates, many of the Kordes roses (like Austin roses) seem to want to exceed their stated heights. My Earth Angel is one year old, and has certainly exceeded 3', but she might prove to be lax enough that the canes flop over when they grow longer once she gains a stronger root system. This would however imply a broader shrub than stated. My own-root plant really did not bloom for me her first year, but I look forward to seeing her come into her own this spring. [Update: This rose might benefit from judicious pruning. Left to her own devices, she can become an octopus, it appears, essentially behaving as a "self-pegging" rose with lots of buds along the prior year's arching canes for me. (I note one image of a plant that appears a bit stiffer and more erect than mine, however.) Looking forward to a good display this spring from all the buds up and down the canes. With regular pruning, Kordes sizing is probably fairly accurate.]

What a great rose! The blooms are truly beautiful, and the foliage is amazingly healthy.

Based on code name and specific traits, it's possibly bred from Geoff Hamilton.
