Origin:
Bred by Unknown (before 1834).
Introduced in Australia by Northampton Nurseries in 1861 as 'Victor Hugo'.
Class:
Hybrid Bourbon, Hybrid China.  
Bloom:
Lilac - pink.  Moderate fragrance.  Average diameter 3.5".  Large, full (26-40 petals), globular bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Growing:
Can be used for garden or pillar.
