Bred by AndrĂ© Carl (United States, 2013).
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Dark red with black-red shading along the edges.  Mild, pepper fragrance.  30 to 45 petals.  Average diameter 4".  Medium-large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered to cupped, semi-globular bloom form.  Prolific, continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  Medium, leafy sepals, long sepals, long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Tall, upright, well-branched.  Large, matte, dark green, dense, maroon highlights foliage.  3 to 5 leaflets.  

Height: 4' to 8' (120 to 245cm).  Width: 2' to 3' (60 to 90cm).
Growing:
Can be used for beds and borders, garden, landscape or shrub.  Vigorous.  benefits from winter protection in colder climates.  drought resistant.  flowers drop off cleanly.  heat tolerant.  produces decorative hips.  Disease susceptibility: disease resistant, blackspot resistant.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

Notes:
Pollen parent originally unidentified as tag was unreadable. Growth pattern and bloom color strongly suggests the influence of Altissimo which was on of 6 pollens used on The 777 Rose.

First planted in the ground: July 2016

Sets a lot of hips with seeds suggesting that this could be a good variety to use in a breeding program.
