Bred by Franco Galliati (Italy, 1990).
Class:
Floribunda.  
Bloom:
White, deep pink edges.  Double (17-25 petals), high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Growing:
Can be used for beds and borders or cut flower.

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Dedicated to Margherita Maria Teresa Giovanna di Savoia (November 20, 1856 Torino - January 4, 1926 Bordighera), daughter of Prince Ferdinand of Savoy. She married in 1868, Prince Umberto of Italy and became Queen in 1878. Pizza Margherita in the Italian national colours (green basilic, white mozzarella and red tomatoes) is supposed to have been named after her in 1889 in Napoli.
