This is my second comment on Savannah. She is now almost a month old and is 2 1/2 feet tall, lovely green foliage, and has 5 large new buds ready to pop. Our weather should soon be cooling off, and I will be happy to see how she does in great weather....She has done beautifully 95+.

She may be a future 'favorite' of mine.

Savannah is part of the Sunbelt (R) Series because it has proven in trials to be a rose that performs well in the hot and humid climates of N. America. It has not been trialed in colder climates as of yet although we have started USDA Zone 4 trials this year. We have no reason to think it will not be hardy in colder zones -we just do not have the data in 2015. We will post hardiness data as we see results from trials.

In our USDA Zone 8 this rose is reaching to 4 feet after several years of growing. Width is about 2.5 feet. A very dense foliage to ground with a dark shiny leaves. Nearly continuous blooming.

Very strong fragrance can be described as classic old rose with some heliotrope in the finish.

Savannah is PPAF. It was crossed in 1999 and was released in N. America in 2014. PPAF
