Purple - violet. Mild fragrance. Full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered, in large clusters bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.
Height: 11½' to 17' (350 to 520cm). Width: up to 10' (up to 305cm).
USDA zone 5b through 9b. Can be used for garden or pillar. Hardy. shade tolerant.
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Nigel Pratt of Tasman Bay Roses says this rose has double flowers of wine purple borne in large clusters.
'Bleu magenta' is possibly identical with 'Mme E. Rocque' by Lottin (1918)
