Origin:
Bred by Pelletier (before 1850) (France, before 1829).
Class:
Hybrid Spinosissima.  
Bloom:
Light pink, lilac shading, white outer petals.  Average diameter 1.25".  Small to medium, very double, borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  Glandular sepals, leafy sepals buds.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, bristly , bushy, lax, rounded.  Small, grey-green foliage.  5 to 9 leaflets.
