Origin:
Bred by William Paul (1822-1905) (United Kingdom, 1870).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1873 as 'Princess Christian'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Salmon-pink to carmine-pink, peach shading.  Mild to strong fragrance.  Very large, full (26-40 petals), cupped bloom form.  
Habit:
Upright.  
Growing:
Very vigorous.

Notes:
Princess Christian (25 May 1846—9 June 1923) was Queen Victoria's fifth child. Née Princess Helena, she became known as Princess Christian after she married Prince Christian of Schleswig-Holstein in 1866.
