Origin:
Bred by Charles Turner (United Kingdom, 1869).
Introduced in United Kingdom by William Paul & Son in 1875 as 'Miss Poole'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.
Bloom:
Silvery rose.  Large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Parentage:
If you know the parentage of this rose, or other details, please contact us.
Notes:
Discrepancy about breeder; see Hole's 1870 reference in which 'Lord Napier', which was sent out by Turner at the same time as 'Miss Poole' was described as a fine seedling from Victor Verdier (presumably the rose, not the breeder); this could be the source of the confusion.
