Hybrid Rubiginosa, Hybrid Spinosissima, Shrub.
Bloom:
Lemon-yellow with some slight light pink overlay. Mild to strong fragrance. Average diameter 3.25". Medium, single (4-8 petals), borne mostly solitary, flat bloom form. Medium buds.
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, bristly , upright. Small, semi-glossy, medium green foliage. 7 to 9 leaflets.
Growing:
Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.
Breeder's notes:
This one should be hardy to zone 4 if not 3. Would need to field test.
