[Note: The date of introduction for Bonn is given as 1950. The date of introduction for Independence, one of its parents, is 1951. Both roses are from Kordes and Independence received a gold medal in Bagatelle as early as 1943, so was probably being used in the Kordes breeding program for several years before its date of introduction.]
