From Darrell Schramm: Pierre Cochet père bred the rose named after Admiral Bougainville, who gave Cochet's father Christophe Cochet the money to set him up in the rose business. Admiral Bougainville> Christophe Cochet> Pierre Cochet> rose 'Bougainville'. All in the family, so to speak.
