Listed in the catalog of roses found in the Sacramento Historic Rose Garden with this description: "HP found rose from Calaveras County". The rose was found near a saloon in Copperopolis, CA. Another description from a different catalog: "“This many-petalled deep pink rose has excited everyone who has seen it. Packed with petals, and VERY fragrant, it is almost never out of bloom. Vigorous as all get-out, it survived years of neglect near an old saloon. Blooms of robust presence are somewhat similar to those of another Found Rose: “Tylor Carrl,” but this one blooms in a very different deep pink colour.”
