"Örträsk" rose Description

Origin:
Discovered by Unknown (before 1950).
Class:
Found Rose, Hybrid Rugosa.
Bloom:
Pink, ages to lighter . Moderate fragrance. Medium, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, cupped bloom form. Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.
Habit:
Arching, suckers on its own roots, upright.
Height: 6'7" to 8'2" (200 to 250cm). Width: 6'7" to 8'2" (200 to 250cm).
Growing:
Produces decorative hips.

Notes:
Found by Irma Öhrmans in the garden of Viktor Örtelius in Örträsk, Sweden. Possibly a hybrid with Rosa majalis. Source: Örträsk
