Discovered by Dr. Andreas Meier-Dinkel (Germany, 1994).
Class:
Miscellaneous OGR.  
Bloom:
Light pink, ages to white .  Moderate, old rose fragrance.  up to 90 petals.  Average diameter 1.75".  Small to medium, very full (41+ petals), in large clusters, cupped bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Climbing, few or no prickles/thorns.  Glossy foliage.  7 to 9 leaflets.  

Height: 9'10" to 19'8" (300 to 600cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 5b and warmer.  Very hardy.  shade tolerant.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Ploidy:
Triploid
Notes:
Christened 2013 on occasion of the 1200 years' jubilee of Escherode. The settlement was established after 770 as Esekorode, and first mentioned in a document by Charlemagne on May 8, 813.
Pollen parent is an unknown OGR in the garden of the discoverer.
