Origin:
Bred by Henry Bennett (United Kingdom, before 1880).
Introduced in Australia by C. F. Newman and Sons - Adelaide in 1894 as 'Lady Mary Fitzwilliam'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Light pink.  Small prickles.  Strong fragrance.  Large, full (26-40 petals), globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Short, bushy, well-branched.  Dark green foliage.  

Height: 16" to 32" (40 to 80cm).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
The synonym 'Lady Alice' in the 1936 reference is probably a confusion with the sport of that name.
