Bloom:
Violet-red, crimson shading.  Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.

Possibly two distinct roses dedicated to the Chopin de Saint-Michel family.
Marguerite Chopin de Saint-Michel (November 29, 1858 Vincennes - April 3, 1938 Dijon), married Henri Antoine Eugène Marie de Fontenay on August 30, 1880.
her mother: Jeanne Gabrielle Marie Léonie de Limozin de Saint-Michel (March 25, 1827 - May 25, 1888), married Emile Louis Chopin de Saint Michel on October 30, 1856.
