If it is the same rose as in photo nr. 34613, then it obviously is Belle Herminie by Coquerel, not by Vibert. And the blooms strike me as being virtually identical with those of Duc de Cambridge ... Beautiful, anyway.

Yes, you are right, Belle Herminie in Sangerhausen seems to be identical with the rose I know as Duc de Cambridge. This rose has got charactristics of a Damascena as well as of a Gallica, so I'm not sure up to now whether it is Duc de Cambridge or Belle Herminie by Coquerel. I would tend to put it with the Damascena group as it looks a little more like a Damascena than a Gallica, though the receptacle is more Gallica-like.
