Pfft! It's screaming orange in my garden and I still can't bring myself to toss it.

It opens a nice orange, but quickly changes to pale orangey-pink. It sure grows well!

You know 'Westerland' must love cool weather. It seems to hate it here.

I don't think it's surprising that it dislikes extreme heat. I know that it dislikes being budded. It's a very different plant own root, more graceful, more climbing but less remontant.

Good to know Cass and makes sense. Mine is budded, I assume to Huey. It grows just fine but it's rangy, rarely flowers for me.

I've had this one for over 10 years and I've not once caught it in flower that I thought it would make a good photo. Sure looks great for everyone else though.

Mine is budded, too. It grows and reblooms like a champ.
