This photo is from a private garden of a very good friend of mine in my country Chile, Santiago, South America. She had really a heirloom museum at her home. Heritage of their ancestors family.

My answer was quick because the issue is what I love, roses, even, I wrote a book on the subject of roses varieties adapted in Chile and where we can find and know them. So many places to explore, where we can find real treasures. Of course her roses are important, she has two other roses that will surprise you too, very important (Heritage roses). I need time to sort their wonderful origen.
Best regards,

Your photo may show the only remaining Génie in the world. There is a question how tall this plant gets. Can you answer that? Have copies of this rose been made?

Hello Jedmar
Maybe is the only remaining Génie in the world. The only doubt that I have are the leaves shape, because I dont have way to compare it, there no much information. The rose was from my friend's grandmother, they lived in Europe, and my friend has now 84 years old. Yes, they have copied this rose for their family as a treasure. I was the one that identify the rose. They knew that it was and old rose but never that it was really very old. It is a fascinating rose
