From 1926 Wills's Cigarette Cards (No 46) PREMIER.
(Hybrid Tea.)
An almost thornless rose—in fact it is often known as the thornless rose—with extremely handsome foliage. The flowers are large, full, freely produced, and very fragrant. It is perfectly hardy, and makes a fine specimen plant, either as a standard or bush, and makes an exceptionally good pot rose. Should be pruned back to four "eyes" early in March. Introduced in 1920.
