Billy, thank you! What an amazing find! I appreciate your sharing these wonderful cards. I'd imagine those sold many of these roses when they were new, and in far too many cases, these will be the only images we have of some of these iconic roses. Thank you! Kim

They're wonderful! Thank you! We don't remember that in many cases, THIS type of thing was the major advertising people saw to encourage them to buy the roses. There wasn't TV. Magazines were often a luxury. Newspapers weren't in color and it is rather difficult to hawk something so visual and scented via radio. Cigarette cards and POP advertising with the "glamor shots" plastered in stores and nurseries showed the "pretty face" of the flowers. Having access today of such advertising gives glimpses of a long gone era.
