I don't recall a fragrance, but it's not blooming now, so I can't really check. Lineage is out of Shadow Dancer, hence the "Dancer" in the name, but that's all I remember. And it's got that wonderful Shadow Dancer bulletproof foliage (think Dortmund), but it's not quite as vigorous a climber as either of those.

Yes, out of 'Shadow Dancer'. Burling told me the parentage but I was going to let her make the addition. The other parent is a mauve. I wasn't sure if she wanted it posted. We can ask her. Thanks, Robert

Do you have any idea how hardy it might be?

I'd guess 6 and probably 5. It's a relatively new rose. I'm not sure it's been tested in colder climates.
