Is Mr. Bang ever going to find a distributor for his roses?

I say this knowing I likely can't grow them where I live. (sigh)

I can grow everything where I live, Portland, OR. Nastarana, can't you just mulch them really well or cover them with layers of straw and newspaper? Maybe build a small hothouse? Why can't you grow them? I grew roses in CA right on the ocean (Ventura).

The problem for zone 5, where I am is that tender roses can survive the winters if well covered, but the canes still die and it takes long time for the bushes to grow back each year. Also the soil is damp and heavy, so the roots have push through that dense soil, and I don't really have a source for sand which would not be prohibitively expensive. Most HTs seem to need more heat than we typically have. Also, because the climate is damp. there is lots of BS pressure, and I don't care to spray. The HTs which seem to do best here are the large and vigorous Kordes HTs from the last decades of the 20thC.

So a hot house is really the only solution, and probably too expensive and too much trouble.
I am going to try the florist's rose "Red Intuition" by Delbard. Not as dramatic as Vampire but dark red with darker red stripes.
I too love Kordes roses and have Speelwerk, Folklore, Sunny Sky to name a few. I prefer exhibition type HTs
