Oh those weird long sepals just TELL YA there is something wonky with this one. It thrives own root, it is a very strong grower which surprised me. Here in 6a the GREEN comes out better in HEAT. I agree with its old POP/RIR reviews which said something to the effect that the bloom never really opens, just sort of gets to the 1/2 way point, stops, and eventually dries on the stem. Not my favorite by ANY means but one of the few I have in the front of the house and yes, it does get some comments----polarized to both extremes----by the neighbors.
