It's surprising this is one half miniature rose, isn't it?

Yes, The flowers are big Kim. Up to 10 cm. I like this rose for it's rugged thorny(prickly) appearance (up to 1.25 meter) and yet in contrast the sweet, charming, tender beautifull yellow roses. It's a wayward rose at the roadside... and at the edge of my garden.
By the way, did You see the hips and seeds of it?

Yes, I did. That wasn't common here when I grew it, but there were hips on the large plants at Sequoia Nursery.
