Photographing roses that reflect a lot of like back is difficult. Shading them while taking the photo can help.

I could have fixed it in photoshop, but I did not want to take a chance on changing the color. I think its better to see roses at any time in the bloom cycle. These were late in the bloom cycle. Most people only take photos at the best looking time of the flowering.

I made a typo. I meant reflect a lot of light, meaning its hard to see their true color, even if ugly, if they're reflecting light.
