Hi!
Does this rose suffer any dieback in your garden? I see that you're in Chicago - I grew up there and moved to the 'burbs. I'm in Zone 5b, but think Chicago might be warmer? Would you recommend this rose? Roses Unlimited has it and I'm thinking of purchasing it but am concerned with hardiness. Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks!

Honey Bouquet died after 1st winter. My fault that I don't dig deep for drainage. Lots of rocks below in my alkaline clay. But a friend (20 min.) away has loamy & alkaline soil and his Honey Bouquet also died through winter. I admire your hardy climbers and was ready to recommend William Baffin & other hardy climbers that you grow to a friend. But I would like to know what type of soil you have (sandy, loamy, clay) and soil pH (alkaline, neutral, or acidic) .. before I can recommend such for this friend in NY. Thank you for any info.
