A difficult rose to photograph correctly. The intense colour seems to throw the average digital camera for a bit of a loop. Finally got a shot that is pretty accurate for colour, after many attempts. Taken on an overcast day about an hour before sunset.
The scent on this thing is utterly delicious. Strong old rose/damask notes, but with a little something extra that is hard to describe. In my opinion it is a better scent than Mr Lincoln or Oklahoma, and that's saying something.
