Hello Carmenbcdc's, I am trying to identify a rose that seems to be Soraya Climbing. This rose is approximately 3 meters high, has hairy pedicels, and once I cut it I could smell a banana scent. I counted 24 petals. Does that look like your climbing Soraya ? Thank you, Thomas.

Thomas todo lo que dices designa a Soraya, creo que es ésta tu rosa. Es un buen rosal trepador, florífero, color impactante, perfumado y muy sano , vigoroso y repite floración más que otros trepadores. Pero tiene algunos inconvenientes: las flores son poco duraderas, al envejecer toman un tono amoratado muy poco estético. Pero aún así, es un rosal encantador.

Muchas gracias Carmen ! I do like that rose too, especially its shape, and the color is beautifully shaded I think. I noticed the petals were very tender. I am glad you helped me with the identification,
