The rose was bred by 'Noack' in 1991. The photos of this rose, shown in his catalogue, indicate a light pink, semi double flower.

The problem is that HMF combined two roses: Schöene Dortmunderin and Kleine Dortmund. This is a photo of Schöene Dortmunderin. Thank you for helping us with this error.

Checking further, I see the problem is not so clear.

Modern Roses 12 shows both Kleine Dortmund and Schöne Dortmunderin to be intensely colored.

"Kleine Dortmund or Kleine Dortmunderin, carmine scarlet with white eye"
"Schöne Dortmunderin, intense pure pink"

Neither one is light pink. Since this has a white eye, I would think it is Kleine Dortmunderin.

I found another photo of "Schöne Dortmunderin", where the color is much more intensiv. I think the quality of the photos in Noack's catalogue isn't very good. I agree with you that the photo shows 'Kleine Dortmunderin'.

Thank you. I separated the two roses, and the photo of 'Kleine Dortmunderin' will be moved to the correct page. How large are these plants?

Schöne Dortmunderin will reach 60-70 cm, 'Kleine Dortmunderin' is a little bit smaller: 40-60 cm
