This is not a Yellow flower

ALMOST SUNSET is classified as a yellow "blend," and the yellow is on the reverse. It is however more of an orange blend in my opinion, and it even tends to get a red blush as it ages. This rose was a J&P test rose in 1995. It has the codename of "Jacolly" and has the deep pink HELLO DOLLY as a parent. It was never marketed in the USA, but only in Australia and New Zealand. It's actually one of my favorite roses. I don't understand why J&P never introduced it here, as it does very well in my climate. Beth |

This was an odd older bloom that sort of changed with the temps. It is normally more orange with a yellow reverse.
