Thank you! I was musing on the similarity of this picture to the warm weather face of "Adam" on p. 77 of the Tea Book and the connection to the 'President'.
May I add a question? Is the rose named 'Princess Caroline' in Paquet's book?

(Sadly) I don't have a copy of the book - just a photocopy of the portrait which is captioned simply 'Caroline'.
