Robert, have you used this rose? I picked some hips from Snug Harbor- very old plants (probably from it's first introduction) The plants were spotless, and the hips are gigantic: 20-30 seeds/hip. They taste terrible though.

Yes, easy pollen parent. I can't remember if I tried it for seed but have no descendants with it as seed parent. I gave up on this one pretty quickly as I learned it's only BS resistant in certain areas of the country and doesn't seem to pass along resistance very readily, at least in my experience. Of course I didn't explore it for very long. I would use it differently if I tried it again.
