I can't believe I've never left a comment about this rose!
Hands down it is the best floribunda I have ever grown. It is covered in blooms and foliage head to toe all season long. Phenomenal disease resistance. I had a bout of Downey Mildew a few years ago and while everyone around it was langishing, it stayed clean. No black spot or powdery mildew. It has wintered like a champ even in -20 temps and strange freezes which wiped out a quarter or more of my roses. Even when the canes were taken to the ground it comes back as strong and large as ever. 3x2 feet here in the Inland NW
This picture was taken this morning. It hasn't been deadheaded and the temps have been in the high 90's low 100's. Among the spent blooms are perfect spiral centers which are a hallmark of this rose. Not many of my roses look this good after nearly a week of high heat.
For the life of me I can't understand why JP stopped producing this rose.
