Argosy (Garden). Shapely double fuschia pink blooms on healthy plants; free blooming. A Glenara seedling. F 3 HT.
(1947)  Page(s) 109.

Aroma (Garden & Decorative) The name is appropriate for this bright ruby red rose, as its perfume is rich and very sweet. Good grower and free blooming, but somewhat liable to mildew.  Fragrant. Habit 3. (H.T)

Autumn (Garden) Richly and variably coloured, with burnt orange and red tones. Upright growth. Perfume strong and fruity. For A.H.M. Mts. P.S. zones. Fragrant. Habit 3. (HT)
(1947)  Page(s) 109.

Better Times (Garden & Show) One of the splendid Columbia sports.  A glittering cerise, perfect in form, with large blooms on long stems, upright growth. Foliage and perfume all that can be desired. Stems are almost thornless; a decorative advantage. Fragrant. Habit 3. (HT)
(1947)  Page(s) 110.

Betty Uprichard (Decorative & Garden) A decorative rose of dainty colouring, semi-double, salmon carmine to copper reverse. A good tall grower; vigorous branching. Fragrant. Habit 3. (HT)
(1947)  Page(s) 132.

Climbing Betty Uprichard (HT)  Fragrant. Habit 6. Like the dwarf, blooms are semi-double, rich, coppery pink. Growth is vigorous. Worth its place for distinct colour in climbing roses
(1947)  Page(s) 110.

Billy Boiler (Garden) This tall growing bush or pillar rose is most striking and one of the best garden subjects for back row work. The long upright shoots are always festooned with buds and blooms of a dazzling red colour. Very aptly named. A Glenara seedling. Habit 3 or 5 (HT). Can be trained either as a bush or pillar rose.
(1947)  Page(s) 132.

Black Boy (HT)  Fragrant. Habit 6. Needs little introduction to Australian gardens. A rampant grower. Blooms are borne in great profusion. They are deep velvety crimson, shaded maroon; richly fragrant and borne on long stiff stems. Open quickly to semi-double but splendid for decoration. Bush likes warmth and is very hardy.

Brasier (Garden & Decorative) It is a Pernetiana variety, eminently suitable for drier and cooler climes (A. H. M. Mts. P. & S.) where its long dark flaming red buds, which open glowing fiery red, are most distinctive. A grand decorative (Pernetiana). Fragrant. Habit 3.
(1947)  Page(s) 110.

Briarcliff (Garden & Show) One of Columbia's sports and very like the parent, but with its own characteristics. The bright, even pink colour is a shade deeper and perfume is rich and sweet. A lovely toning and splendid decorative. Said not to inherit the Columbia habit of malformed buds in dry times, but my experience indicates need for ample moisture and nitrogenous manuring. Very refined. Fragrant. Habit 3. (HT)
