Blaze Improved Cluster-flowered Climber. 'Blaze Improved' (formerly 'Blaze Superior') was discovered and introduced by Jackson & Perkins in 1950... While 'Blaze' may still be available, it has been largely replaced by the far superior 'Blaze Improved', which offers excellent repeat bloom (lacking in the original)... brilliant scarlet-red clusters... Probably the most widely grown Climber and one of the very best for a trellis or fence...
