The described Modus of payment in "Niederhessischem Cassengeld" with a Caroline (Carl d'Or) equal to 6 1/6 Reichsthaler, confirms the early 19th century attribution. The sequence of roses is the same as used by Salomon Pinhas in his paintings of Wilhelmshöhe roses (ca. 1806-1815).
