This listing was prepared by Christian Franz Bode (1751-1826), court gardener of the Park Schönbusch, the summer residence of the Electoral Prince and Archbishop of Mainz, Friedrich Carl von Erthal (January 3, 1719 Mainz - July 25, 1802 Aschaffenburg) . Bode's purchases at Wilhelmshöhe and correspondence with Daniel August Schwarzkopf are known.
